Marshmission and Atchafalaya Revisited
will soon be two new websites following the work of
CC Lockwood and Rhea Gary as they work on a four year public awareness project.

I. A web journal on the Morning
Advocate depicting the work of the two artist as they spend a year in the
wetlands.
CC Lockwood and his wife will live on a houseboat and make a seasonal
circuit around South Louisiana.
Rhea will join them occasionally to gather sketches for her painting.
II. A book entitled, The
Vanishing Wetlands: Two Views
to be released fall of 2005
III. An exhibit to open at the new
LSU Art Museum on the Arts Block in downtown Baton Rouge,
the show will then travel for two years across the USA
opens October 2005
IV. During the project, CC Lockwood,
Rhea Gary and teacher Sue Lockwood will interact with
20 correspondent schools via the internet, Sue will post weekly Coastal
Correspondent Newspaper
and there is a possibility that we will teach by live video from the Wetlands.
