C.C.'s Tips to Make Our House (the Earth) a Better Place to Live

1.    Recycle what you use and better yet, take care of what you buy to make it last longer.  You can also encourage everybody to make, sell, and buy things with less wasted packaging.

2.    Fill up your washing machines and dishwashers before you start them.  Use the same glass for water all day.

3.    Open your windows and turn your air conditioners down on those nights when it is cooler outside than inside.

4.    Encourage people not to litter.

5.    Support saving the Atchafalaya Basin Swamp.  It's one of the greatest natural resources in the United States.  Not only is it a recreational paradise, but also serves as a flood outlet for the Mississippi River.  The Atchafalaya's millions of trees produce oxygen and filter the Mississippi's water on it's way to the Gulf of Mexico.
